Drystone IT was founded in 2025 in Rossendale, Lancashire. We combine senior software engineering, practical AI guidance and brand-led web design — for businesses that want modern digital capability without enterprise complexity.

Technology works best when it's simple, reliable, and built with a genuine understanding of your business. We don't put juniors in front of you or account managers between you and the technical detail. You speak directly to who's doing the work, get answers in plain English, and have one accountable point of contact from first conversation to delivery.

Founder

Starting as an infrastructure engineer apprentice and progressing through senior roles at large hosting providers, Will brings years of hands-on experience across complex software and infrastructure environments.

Backed by CompTIA-aligned Linux and Windows qualifications and a long track record of shipping software that actually gets used, he founded Drystone IT to give small businesses the same calibre of engineering the big players take for granted — without the price tag or the politics.

We're proudly based in Rossendale and serve businesses across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. On-site work is available within a 60-mile radius, with remote delivery UK-wide. Rossendale, Bury, Rochdale, Manchester, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston.
